Heijung Park-Colameco

A native of South Korea, Heijung Park-Colameco first settled in West Cape May via New York City in 1988, as owner/pastry chef of The Globe restaurant along with her husband, Mike Colameco, currently of Colameco’s Food Show/PBS.

As a longtime resident, Heijung is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in CM, and also Cape May National Golf Club. She has degrees in Fine Arts (Pratt Institute, ’78 M.F.A) and Culinary Arts (C.I.A, ’83 A.O.S), and her career accomplishments in the hospitality industry include Pastry Chef in Pierre Hotel, Parker-Meridien Hotel & Bernards Inn. Heijung’s personal highlights include volunteering in Hospice care, the CM Food Closet, the West Cape May PTA, and completing 5 marathons.
